On Site or Off Site Optimization?
The question has been around for a long time. The answer generally
is, if you have good on site optimization, the off site optimization
will take care of itself over time. It generally won't work
to have poor on site optimization and good off site optimization,
so if you have to chose focus on the site first and worry
about the rest later.
Not only do we consult on search engine optimization, we also
have the resources to perform on site and off site optimization
for those organizations that either don't have the resources
available to do the work or find it more efficient to out source
the work.
On site optimization is generally a project that should be performed
by the site owner's technical team, but there are some projects
that can be out sourced without concern. Out sourced projects
would include items like writing new content, developing meta
data and page titles, testing links on the site for errors,
and projects of a similar nature.
In certain instances where a small site doesn't have its own
technical resources we can access the site ourselves and perform
100% of the optimization should the need arise.
Off site optimization can generally be handled entirely by our
team. This includes projects such as linking campaigns, secondary
site development, anchor text evaluation, directory submissions,
and other similar projects.
